Projects

Caleb with Curls educational projects help kids and families learn outside of the classroom. Every new experience is an adventure, and every adventure, an opportunity to learn.

Caleb with Curls Show

Exploring local gems, like museums and parks and local events is a great opportunity for the whole family to be together. Out of each outing, there are usually teachable moments. Beyond what can be learned at museums, local fairs and community events often include people with interesting jobs or skills. Even if you don’t live in San Diego County, you can look at the world around your own backyard and find interesting kid-friendly family activities to enjoy, that can teach and increase your kid’s awareness of different people and careers.

Black America (under development)

Caleb has created a superhero persona called Black America, because, he says, “I am Black and I live in America.” He wants to learn about America’s African American heroes, past and present, and share their stories with others. Caleb was inspired by the life and death of actor Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the fictional Marvel Universe superhero Black Panther, as well as historic African Americans like singer James Brown, baseball player Jackie Robinson and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. This project is under development.
