Every weekend in October, Sea World put on a Halloween party for kids and families. There were no-touch trick or treat stations all over the park. Not as many as they usually offer at these events. But they have to make sure to provide a safe way for us kids to get our candy, since we are in a Pandemic. So, even for people with annual passes, your adult has to sign up online in advance for a reservation. They want to make sure large crowds of people aren’t there, so we can keep 6 feet apart. And masks are required.
There were presentations of animals, like the sea lion show, the dolphin show and the Shamu show. We learned about the animals at Sea World in fun ways, and we learned about things that humans do that make it difficult for sea creatures to survive.
They also had great food to eat, but all the restaurants weren’t open. And we were able to dress up in our costumes. I was the Black Panther and my baby cousin was Buzz Lightyear. I missed going on the rides, but it was great to be out and see the animals.
The next special day will be Veterans Day celebration–Red, White and Blue Salute–November 5 to 7. Members of the military get in free. Then on November 15 to January 4, one of my favorite events will happen, Sea World’s Christmas Celebration. Reservations are required for everything, but it’s good to be out at my usual places during these unusual times.
